My mother taught me to crochet when
I was young. I tried making blankets and scarfs but it wasn’t until I
discovered amigurumi that crochet really stuck with me. What can I say, I like
crocheting in circles. Ever since I started making dolls, I haven’t wanted to
do anything else. I truly love every doll that I make.
For years, I’ve struggled with
chronic illness and depression. I’ve found that one of the things that helps
the most is having someone who will listen, someone in whom I can confide. My
hope is that my dolls can be that for those who need it -- a friend and
confidant, to share both sorrows and joys.
